Hey i dont mean to spoil everyones fun but if you click the link about tesla you’ll see that the reason it failed is most likely bc scientists didnt believe it was feasable. He had to stop his project because he didnt recieve enough funding, correct, but its 100% possible that the reason nobody funded it anymore was because it was too risky to invest in something this big that probably wouldnt even work…

Its not as simple as “this idea would definitly work but we dont wanna invest bc ~profit~”, and its more like “this idea is expensive and highly unlikely to work and i dont want to risk my money on it”.

But in a state known for silencing queer voices, some amazing South Florida students spoke up.

With the support of one of our It Gets Better: Changemakers grants, they launched Taboo Talk—a student-created video series tackling topics like body image, sexual health, LGBTQ+ rights, and the joy of being seen for who you really are. The pilot episode, along with a special edition filmed at the Florida AIDS Walk, is just the beginning. The team plans to expand the series and make it available to GSAs and classrooms across the country.

Turns out cool stuff happens when LGBTQ+ youth are trusted to lead, create, and connect.

Former infosec worker here, my 2 cents on this:

>4chan was running on an EXTREMELY OLD version of php so it was vulnerable as fuck

>hacker found vulnerability back on 2021 and played the long game so they could take down the entire site

>alongside admin info, entire source code leaked

>site used deprecated connections to MySQL server, insecure as shit

>site had a file with whitelisted countries that could post freely while others needed to wait for 900 SECONDS TO GET THE CAPTCHA.

>whole code base needs to be updated in order to get the server running up again, which could take a long long time, and could be deemed not worthy by Hiro, so this may actually be the end of 4chan

Remember kids, update and patch vulnerabilities if you don't want to get nuked out of the face of the earth by the hacker known as 4chan

You want to call your House rep now and tell them Trump needs to be impeached immediately for defying a Supreme Court order (re: Kilmar Abrego Garcia), which functionally voids our constitution and means no one in America has rights anymore.

I am not exaggerating.

As of now, anybody can be disappeared, no due process, no recourse. Trump is openly disregarding a Supreme Court order and says he’ll send US citizens to El Salvador.

This is not a drill.

Call your House rep and tell them they must impeach. Tell them if they cannot bring themselves to impeach, they must resign. A more open and shut case to impeach is not possible. Trump and his administration are saying openly, in public, that anybody can be kidnapped by ICE, even in error, and disappeared permanently.

Call your senators, too, and tell them to support impeachment (it goes to them once it passes a majority House vote).
